Boots

For horseback riding, you need a boot or riding shoe with a heel. The following are some of our recommendations.

Justin Men’s Ropers: Justin makes a comfortable roper that is also good for riding.

Ariat Men’s Workhog Steel Toe Work Boot: These are the boots I currently wear most often. I like to have steel toe protection when working around horses. These boots provide protection for my toes, along with comfort and durability. These are my first square toe boots.

Justin Bent Rail Boots: Great riding boot. Fits nicely into a stirrup and has the traditional feel of a classic cowboy boot.

Ariat Venttek Ultra Square Toe– Very nice boot by one of the best bootmakers in the business today. Ariat provides a vented shaft and odor-resistant liner. The boot is surprisingly light and has a functional heel.
