The Very Best Women’s Cowboy Boots
The best cowboy boots for women you can buy for under $100 are the Ariat Fatbaby western boots, Laredo Bridget western boots, Cimmarons’ by Silver Canyon, Kennedy roper square toes, and West Blvd-Miami cowboy boots. All these boots are affordable and stylish.
The Ariat boot company has built a reputation for designing and constructing well-made cowboy boots, and these Fatbaby boots live up to that tradition.
These are a multi-purpose boot that is fashionable enough to wear out, tough enough to work in, and are suitable to wear horseback riding. However, these aren’t the perfect riding boots.
My daughter found them a little wide for the stirrup, and she prefers a slicker sole on her boots when in the saddle. The boots are lightweight and extremely comfortable.
You can wear them straight out of the box without any break-in period. The heel is about an inch, and the front and sides are 1/2 to about 3/4 inches.
What we like about these boots
I like to buy a brand I know and trust. Ariat cowboy boots are made with the best materials and craftsmanship. They also stand behind their products with a good warranty.
These boots are made from 100 percent full-grain leather. Full-grain leather is the least processed and the highest quality leather. It also exhibits unique markings, so no two pairs of boots will look the same.
Buying a pair of boots made of this leather for under $100 is an exceptional bargain. I also like the short 8″ shaft on Fatbaby boots. We live in Louisiana, and cowboy boots with tall shafts are hot and become uncomfortable to wear for extended times.
The Fatbaby’s have a 1.5″ heel, which is more comfortable than higher heels, especially if you need to wear boots all day. If you’ve never owned cowboy boots with a low-profile heel, you will appreciate wearing these.
Another attractive feature is the wide opening of the shaft. A wide opening makes it easier to get your foot in and out.
These boots have over 5,000 customers reviews and have received 4.6 out of 5 stars. To learn what people like so much about these boots, here is a link to Amazon’s customer review page:
The Laredo boot company is the value brand of Dan Post boots. They make good quality boots. Some of their lines are made of synthetic material, and most, if not all, of their boots are imported.
These are great-looking boots, but let’s start with the negatives first; they run large, so order a size smaller, and the shaft is more expansive than expected. If you’re a girl with small calves, these boots will swallow your legs.
Why the Bridget boots made our list of best women’s cowboy boots for under $100
I love these Laredo boots’ classic and simplistic style; they are 100 percent distressed leather and have elaborate stitching on the shaft. The insole is very comfortable, and the toe box is ample.
The soles have a slight grip, but not too much that it will prevent you from sliding across the dance floor. The heel and sole worked well for horseback riding.
The heel is 1 3/4 inches tall, which works well to give you a little lift but not too high to make them uncomfortable to wear. Overall these are a great pair of boots for the price.

Silver Canyon Boot and Clothing Company started by making kids’ cowboy boots and expanded to offer quality affordable women’s cowboy boots.
I like to start with the negative to get the bad out of the way early. I’m not too fond of synthetic leather material. It’s durable, but it’s not breathable and traps moisture, plus synthetic leather isn’t durable nor as long-lasting real leather.
Why the Cimmaron Round Toe boots made our list of best women’s cowboy boots for under $100
I genuinely adore the looks of these boots; the round toe and simple design go well with just about any outfit. You can wear these boots out dancing or around the barn.
The soles are slick enough to slide easily in a stirrup or across a dance floor. Its heel is 1 3/4 inches, which is a perfect height to ride a horse safely. The boots seem to be well crafted, and I adore the decorative stitching on the shaft.
The insoles are comfortable, and overall I think these boots are a bargain for less than $100
These women’s cowboy boots earned 4.6 stars out of a possible five stars from Amazon customers. Here is a link to their reviews to read for yourself what they like so much about these cowboy boots.
When you wear the Roper Kennedy Square toe boots, you make a fashion statement without sacrificing comfort. However, I do have one complaint; they’re made from faux leather.
But if you were to buy a pair of boots like this made of 100% leather, expect to pay well over $300.
Why the Roper Kennedy Square Toe boots made our list of best women’s cowboy boots for under $100
These boots’ design is outstanding; the vamp is exquisitely decorated, the heel is perfect for comfort, and the shaft is not too tall. The toe box also offers plenty of room.
These boots are versatile enough to wear with numerous outfits, and you’ll never feel out of place. They look exceptional with jeans but also go well with a casual dress or skirt. Your creativity is your only limit.
When ordering these boots, we’ve found they run true to size.
The Kennedy Square Toe boots earned 4.6 out of 5 stars from Amazon customers. Here is a link to those reviews so you can see for yourself what makes these boots unique.
We saved the best for last, everyone loved these boots, of course, the same complaint I had with some other boots applies to these. I’m typically not fond of cowboy boots made of synthetic material.
But it’s asking a lot to find a pair of nice cowboy boots made from 100% quality leather—another complaint: these boots are trendy and can be challenging to find in stock.
Why West Blvd’s Miami western/cowboy boots made our list of best women’s cowboy boots for under $100
These are great boots for any price, but for under $100, they are fabulous. They come in a lot of colors, from bright red to our favorite color, tan. The styling of the boots is unique but not odd.
The Miami cowboy boots look cute with dresses, shorts, and jeans. Besides the boots being great looking, they are surprisingly comfortable as well. The boots have a short shaft and a 2 1/2 inch heel.
Over 1,500 Amazon customers have reviewed West Blvd Miami boots, and they received 4.5 out of 5 stars. Here is the link to their reviews so you can find out why customers love these boots so much:
